John Kerry must be joking.

Fresh off his role as chief scrivener for Barack Obama Chamberlain, the secretary of state called it “very disturbing” that Iran’s supreme leader vowed to continue opposing the United States despite the nuclear deal.

Did Kerry sleepwalk through the last 18 months? Iran’s leaders continually urged mobs to chant, “Death to America” and never once promised to curb their export of terrorism.

Why should they? Kerry and Obama gave away the store without getting a single significant concession. Even if it doesn’t cheat, Iran will get a nuke and relief from economic sanctions and an embargo on military supplies.

The deal is what’s “very disturbing,” as is Kerry’s claim that he didn’t realize that Iran would remain an enemy. He’s either a liar or an idiot.
