The study, ;“(-)-Oleocanthal rapidly and selectively induces cancer cell death via lysosomal membrane permeabilization (LMP)” showed that an antioxidant compound in olive oil called oleocanthal kills cancer cells rapidly – in as little as thirty minutes.
